the joy that brings strength

you may ask me what the joy that bring strength is all about, it is the joy you would always feel, enjoy, unable to speak when you seem weak. it is the joy of the lord. this joy would have its way in you whenever you keep your gaze on the knowledge of glory to come. remember the word became flesh and we beheld its glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the lord. its a matter of a short time, his words, promises, covenants will be materialized in you, just keep the joy

PLANNING

IN THE CLASS

PLANNING

For you to be successful as a student, you need to be able to plan. Planning for success involves setting out goals which are dreams with deadline i.e. with stipulated time for achievement. It starts with identifying activities to get involved in as a student, for example, daily studying of books, regular attending of classes, preparation for test and examination etc. the goals you set becomes your route to success. After identification, you set goals by writing them down for clarity and accountability. The goals you set must be specific, achievable, and measurable. Your goal must also be time sensitive, because

without timing most goals never go from dream into reality. Goals provide you motivation and draw out your sense of purpose and direction shows you what to do and keep you on your journey to being successful.

More so, in a time like this when exams are just around the corner, I will like us to plan ahead for it-start preparing by studying your notes, doting your i and crossing your t, treating past questions, going for tutorials, signing all necessary forms, pay all necessary fees. Also, get your heart prepared and be rest assured within yourself that you cannot fail and that you are coming out as a success. Prayerfully prepare for your exams too-commit all things into the hands of God, right from reading to releasing of results.

I ask for God’s best for you in this forthcoming examination. Luv ya.

FRIENDSHIP ROLE

FRIENDSHIP ROLE

Having established a fact in our last publication that God is the first criteria to a perfect friendship. Lets see the kind of friends you got to have around or cultivate as someone who as accepted God’s sovereignty. Friends are vital and they can be destiny facilitators or mutilators. You must know that the kind of friends you cultivate affect a great percentage of you and says a great deal about you and what you believe in. show me your friend and I will tell you who you are. Here are some roles vital friends play in each others life:

Builders: they are those who always push towards the finish line, they are great motivators; they continually invest in your development and genuinely want you to be successful. They are always ahead of you one way or the other.

Champions: they stand up for you and what you believe in, they are proud of you, they cannot tolerate dishonesty, and they are like your advocate.

Collaborators: they are friends with similar interest; they share the passion with you. They are called kindred spirit.

Companion: they are always there for you, they share the bond that is virtually unbreakable. They are the first set of people you call when something happens to you, either good or bad. They sense where you are heading to, your thought, your actions, what is happening to you even before you know it, they watch you back. Don’t keep secret from them, if you do it will erode trust.

Connectors: they are bridge builder, who gets you what you want. They get to know you and introduce you to others, you socialize with them regularly, they invite you to gathering where you can meet new people, they give you access to new found resources and ultimately, they connect you to destiny.

See you next month for more on friendship role.

THE ANT

A STRAIGHT TALK

THE ANT

Hi friends,

Do you know there are four creatures which are little on the earth but are exceedingly wise? We will be taking a look at each of them; the ants, the rock badgers, the locusts and the spider (prov 30: 24- 28).

The ants are a group of small, tiny creatures not strong but have ability to make and sustain a living. An ant prepares its food in the summer when the sun is hot and the days are long. The ants though have no teacher, ruler or captain, but are self motivated, goal oriented. No personal mentor, an ant accepts responsibility for meeting her own needs. The ant understands time, which is an important factor in the life of any living creature. She knows the difference between the time of scarcity and the time of plenty and can equally differentiate between day and night. An ant knows when to work and when to sleep. They possess some attributes which differentiates them from all other creatures. The ants are agile and not slack (they are hardworking). They have a sense of direction i.e an ant knows what to do per time and is driven by it. Ants are found every where; they are properly positioned and are always in order. An ant when not lifting, is carrying or delivering. They stay focused to fulfilling or achieving a set of goal. They live and work together in a colony (community), helping each other. In a simple word, they are united. The ants are good managers; they prudently manage their resources in order not to lack in time of scarcity, they prepare for now and future because, they have store houses i.e they know what their future is. If ants, as small and unrecognized as they are know their future and are purposeful, you have no excuse O man! Do you have a future, let alone knowing it? Dear friend, it is worth it for you to be provoked to set on a journey today as you discover your God given purpose and setting goals in achieving them. God has mandated it that man should be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth and have dominion. And this mandate cannot be fulfilled, if you are yet to discover your reason for being on the planet earth. To live a without a purpose, is to live an unproductive and unfulfilling life. Friends, you need to take a time out to critically consider all these about the ant. Catch you in the next edition as we learn more from other living creatures.

SEED MULTIPLICATION

Millionaires’ corner

SEED MULTIPLICATION

Hi

Last month we were able to address the concept of seed sowing as one of the first dynamics of creating wealth.

But this time, we will be examining the concept of seed multiplication as the engine room for wealth creation.

The scripture clearly reads in the book of 2cor 9:10 “Now may He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruit of your righteousness”.

There are three notable things in this verse of scripture that I will want us to consider

  1. God: this is the first and major factor in the operation of seed multiplication. God is the invisible force behind the multiplication of everything you have sown into the ground of your financial destiny.

There are three things He will do

--He will supply the seed i.e everything that will ever lead you on the path to creating your wealth is supplied by the Father.

--He will multiply the seed sown. It is God who will bring about the rapid growth of everything you have put into the ground of your financial destiny.

--He will increase your fruit. Note that it is fruit and not seed that is being increased. This means the increase of the outcome of the seed that is being sown is still going to be engineered by God.

So, it is God that supplied and multiplied, who will also bring about the increase, which simply means abundance on all sides.

Next month, we will consider MULTIPLY
